Indonesia’s LEN, Anliantec of Taiwan sign cooperation to develop renewable projects

JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – Indonesia’s state owned company PT Len Industri (Persero) has signed a cooperation agreement with Anliantec Technology Company Ltd of Taiwan to jointly develop renewable energy projects in the country.

“The cooperation encompasses development, construction, investment, financing and manufacturing of solar power and IPP (Independent Power Producer) in Indonesia,” Communication Manager of PT Len Industri (Persero), Donny Gunawan, was quoted by state news agency Antara as saying in Bandung, Saturday.

The agreement was signed by Director for Technology and Production of Len, Darman Mappangaran and General Manager Analiatec, Cedric Jaeg, on the sideline of Bali Clean Energy Forum (BCEF) 2016 in mid-week.

In addition, Len also cooperates with Agency for Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), PT Medco Energi Internasional, University of Gajah Mada (UGM) and the Jogyakarta government. The cooperation will be focus on development the solar power energy as well as solar technology.

PT Len Industri also tied up with West Sumba Regency government to develop solar power infrastructure in the Sumba island, East Nusa Tenggara. The agreement was signed by West Sumba Regency Head Paulus Sekayu Karugu Limu and President Director of Len Abraham Mose. (*)
