JAKARTA (RambuEnergy.com) – PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (IDX:TGRA) teams up with Japan’s Mitsui & Co, Ltd and Yonden to develop micro hydro power plant (PLTMH) with installed capacity of 10 MW.
The micro hydro power plant is located in North Sumatera.
Corporate Secretary of Terregra Christin Soewito said the project has been constructed since last year. As the company developing the project, the Japanese companies decided to invest and join the project .
The parties signed the sales and purchase agreement on Feb. 14, 2019 in Tokyo to develop the Batang Toru 3 Mini Hydro Project.
The project costs US$30 million, in which Mitsui and Yonden will contribute 30% of the required costs.
Terregra is on expansion mode. The company is currently developing two solar pv projects in Australia through its subsidiary Terregra Renewables Pty. Ltd. (*)
