Chandra Asri ties up with Total Solar in installing solar PVs at its plant

JAKARTA (RambuEnergy.com) – Petrochemical producer PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk, the country’s largest petrochemical producer, has tied up with Total Solar to install solar PVs at the company’s buildings and plants in Banten province.

The company’s President Director Erwin Ciputra said the installation of solar PVs the Chandra Asri’s plant shows the company’s commitment to implement the green manufacturing, aiming at improving energy efficiency, reducing emissions and zero waste at the whole chain companies.

Chandra Asri expects the installation of the solar PVs will help reduce up to 644 tons of CO2 per year.

CEO of Total Solar South East Asia Gavin Adda said that Chandra Asri has taken the lead to install solar PVs in corporate buildings and industrial plants.
