Dragon Land ties up with East China Engineering on coal gasification project

JAKARTA (RambuEnergy.com) – PT Dragon Land has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with East China Engineering Science and Technology Co. Ltd to develop dimethyl ether (DME) coal to gas with a planned capacity of 2 million tons per annum (MTPA).

The signing of the MoU was witnessed by Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Panjaitan in Beijing at the weekend (April 15).

The project will be located in Tanah Kuning, Mangkupadi in North Kalimantan with a planned investment of US$700 million.

The two companies gave no further details of the joint project. (*)
