JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia (PDSI), a subsidiary of state owned energy company PT Pertamina, has launched a tender to transport one of its rig to Algeria-Africa.
The scope of the work is to ship its rig PDSI#42.3/N1500-E from its location Karawang, West Java to MLN location, Algeria, Africa. The rig is expected to be used by its parent firm PT Pertamina to explore its fields in Algeria, Africa.
The registration is set on Feb. 19-25, 2016.
In 2013, Pertamina paid ConocoPhillips $1.75 billion for a 65 percent interest of the MLN field, 16.9 percent of EMK and 3.7 percent of Ourhoud. Pertamina’s take is estimated to be around 23,000 barrels per day.
Pertamina has said that the company would boost output at its Algerian assets to reach 32,000 bpd by 2017.
