Indonesia President, Dutch PM Mark Rutte discuss a plan to develop deep seaport

JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – Indonesian President Joko Widodo held bilateral talks with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on the sidelines of a UNFCCC COP21 in Paris with an aim to strengthen cooperation between the countries.

The communication team member of the President, Ari Dwipayana, said in a statement that both leaders discussed about the cooperation on the National Capital Integrated Coastal Development (NCICD) and Deep Seaport project development.

President Joko Widodo said he wants the development of the National Capital Integrated Coastal Development (NCICD) can be accelerated.

The President also invited the Dutch PM to take part in the development of Deep Seaport in Indonesia. PM Mark Rutte said he will send team to study the plan. In addition, the PM also plans to visit Indonesia in 2016.

The President was accompanied by Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi during the meeting. (*)
