JAKARTA (Rambu Energy) – PT Indo Straits Tbk, a marine and logistic service provider, said that it had secure a contract valued at US$10 million from a multi-national trading company in bulk commodities to provide coal transhipment transportation services from barges to mother vessel in East Kalimantan, with a minimum quantity of 400,000 metric tons (MT) per month.
In a statement to the Indonesian Stock Exchange, the company’s Director Bong Nam Kong said that the contract shall be effect for 15 months, from the signing date of the contract. The contract is subject to option for another 12 months extension.
Indo Straits provides services in the fields of integrated marine, including transhipment, dredging, marine construction and lifting services as well as logistic support services to the resources industry. (*)
