JAKARTA (Rambu Energy) – New York-listed FMC Technologies, Inc (NYSE:FTI) said that it has received an order from Eni Muara Bakau BV to supply subsea systems for its deepwater Jangkrik Complex development offshore East Kalimantan.
The order is worth US$720 million in revenue if the full scope of the award is called off, it said in a statement.
FMC Technologies’ scope of supply will include subsea trees, manifolds, jumpers and connection systems, umbilicals, tooling and associated topside and subsea controls systems.
FMC got the order through its Indonesian unit PT FMC Santana Petroleum Equipment Indonesia, which won the Engineering Procurement-3 (EP-3) tender held by Eni and the Indonesian Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas).
The EP-3 tender is one of three parts of the tender for the Jangkrik Complex project.
SKK Migas said earlier that the engineering, procurement, construction and installation 1 (EPCI-1) contract was awarded to a consortium whose members are PT Saipem Indonesia, PT Tripatra Engineers and Constructs, PT Chiyoda International Indonesia and Hyunday Heavy Industries Co. Ltd. The EPCI-1 covers fabrication and installation of Floating Production Unit (FPU) barge.
The EPCI-2 was awarded to PT Technip Indonesia-Technip Geoproduction (M) Sdn. Bhd consortium. The EPCI-2 covers the construction of onshore receiving terminal, gas pipe network and other supporting facilities.
The Jangkrik field is located in Muara Bakau PSC, Kutei Basin, Makassar Straits, approximately 44 miles (70 kilometers) from Balikpapan. Apart from developing Jangkrik field, Eni is also developing Jangkrik North East field within Muara Bakau PSC, Kutei Basin, East Kalimantan.
