Profiles of 5 oil and gas Working Areas tendered by Indonesia govt

JAKARTA (RambuEnergy.com) – The Indonesian Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry (MEMR) said the 2019 phase one tender of 5 oil and gas Working Areas (WA) has drawn interests from a number of potential bidders.

“One month since we launched the tender, there are now 11 potential biddrs that access the bid document,” said the Director General for Oil and Gas Djoko Siswanto at the energy ministry’s office on Monday.

The five WAs consisting of 2 productive blocks, namely  Selat Panjang and West Kampar and 3 exploration Was, namely Anambas, West Ganal and West Kaimana.

Siswanto said two investors show interested in Anambas WA, three investors attracted to West Ganal WA, one investor is eyeing West Kaimana, three investors are chasing Selat Panjang and 2 investors are interested in West Kaimana WA.

The energy ministry has set April 24 as the latest date for bid submission.

Followings are the profiles of the Oil and Gas Was being offered to investors in the phase 1 2019 tender;

Working Area :Selat Panjang
Location: Daratan Riau
Total Area 942,37 sqm
Reserves (2P) 26,1 MMSTB (oil) and 62 BSCF (gas).
Resources 7 prospect and 17 lead amounting to 1.861 MMBOE (P50)
Last Production Feb. 21, 2018 with volume 1 BOPD
Minimum signature bonus US$ 5,000,000.
Minimum Work Commitment G&G study, 5 exploration wells, 2D 500 km seismic and 3D 200 km2 seismic valued at minimum of US$62,991,080.

Working Area West Kampar

Location Onshore Riau and North Sumatera
Total area 894.48 sqm

Reserves 8.3 MMSTB (oil)
Resources Potential 3 prospects and 20 leads totaling 4,322 (MMBOE (P50)
Production Last production on March 27, 2017 at 112 BOPD
Minimum signature bonus US$5,000,000
Minimum work commitment G&G study, 6 exploration wells, 2D 500 km seismic and 3D 200 km2 seismic worth a minimum of US$ 64,433,080.

Working Area West Ganal
Location Offshore Makassar Strait
Total area 1,129.06 sqm
Reserves 209.7 MMBOE
Minimum signature bonus US$15,000,000.
Minimum work commitment G&G Study, 3 exploration wells, 3D 400 km2 seismic and 2D 500 km seismic.

 Working Area West Kaimana
Location Onshore and Offshore West Papua
Total Area 4,11.27 sqm
Resources 2,443.29 MMBO (oil) and 4.638,39 BCF (gas)

Minimum signature bonus US$ 2,000,000.
Minimum Working Commitment G&G Study, 1 exploration well and 2D 200 km seismic
Working Area Anambas
Location Offshore Natuna Coast
Total Area 3,434.33 sqm
Resources 260.36 BCF (gas) and 26.04 BSCF condensate
