Indonesia’s PGN delivers CNG to customers via Gaslink Trucks

JAKARTA (RambuEnergy.com) – Indonesia’s national gas distributor company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (IDX:PGAS), through its subsidiary PT Gagas Energi Indonesia, will deliver compressed natural gas (CNG) directly to customers through Gaslink Trucks.

Initially, the company operates 32 Gaslink Trucks to supply CNG to customers who are yet to get natural gas through pipeline network.

“We hope that the benefits of natural gas as a friendly source of efficient energy can be easily accessed by the public through the launching of the 32 units of Gaslink Trucks,” Director for Commercial of PGN Danny Praditya said in a statement.

The trucks are designed by adopting the gas transportation module, developed by PT Gagas Energi Indonesia.

Initially, the company will operate the trucks in Regional I (Jakarta, Bekasi, Bogor, Sukabumi, Purwakarta, Bandung, Serang, Cilegon and Lampung), Regional II (East Java, Semarang and Jogyakarta) and Regional III (Pekanbaru and Batam in northern Sumatera).

The service is part of efforts of the company to increase the use of more friendly source of energy in the country. (*)
