Indonesia tenders out 4 oil and gas blocks

JAKARTA (RambuEnergy.com) – The Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry opens tender for four oil and gas working areas or blocks through direct offering.

The tender is the third for this eyar, said Director General for Oil and Gas Djoko Siswanto.

The four blocks being offered are as follows:

1. South Andaman

Location: 3,548.69 sqm, Offshore Andaman Aceh Sea.
Minimum signature bonus : US$2,000,000
Indicative investment commitment for 5 years: G&G, Seismic 3D 500 km
Tender Scheme: direct offer

2. South Sakakemang

Location: 2,145.11 sqm, Onshore South Sumatera.
Minimum signature bonus: US$ 2,000,000
Indicative investment commitment for 5 years: G&G, Seismik 3D 250 km
Tender Scheme: direct offer

3. Anambas
Location : 3,434.33 sqm, Offshore Riau Islands.
Minimum signature bonus: US$ 2,000,000
Indicative investment commitment for 5 years: G&G, 1 sumur eksplorasi.
Tender Scheme: direct offer

4. Maratua

Location: 7,835.07 dqm, Offshore & Onshore North Kalimantan and East Kalimantan.
Minimum signature bonus: US$ 2,000,000
Indicative investment commitment for 5 years: G&G, Seismik 3D 500 km
Tender Scheme: direct offer to Pertamina

The ministry said in line with the Ministerial Decree No 35 Year 2008, Maratua WA is offered to Pertamina and will not be offered to other companies.

Unlike in previous tender process, in this tender, the ministry makes a breakthrough by allowing interest parties who have purchased bid documents to get Data Packages. Data package will be charged only to bid winners.

The tender documents can be accessed on Nov. 5- Dec. 17, 2018.
Clarification Forum is set on Nov. 12 – Dec. 17, 2018.
Submission of the documents is set at the latest Dec. 19, 2018 at 14.30 pm.

The participants must the qualification requirements, including possessing financial and technical documents that will support the operations; has a good track record, purchase bid documents (US$5000). (*)
