Sumberdaya Sewatama appoints new CEO

JAKARTA (RambuEnergy.com) – PT Sumberdaya Sewatama Tbk (IDX:SSMM), an electricity company has appointed Ferry Arief Sunandar as new president director and Hendrik Zulkarnaen as new director, the company announced.

The appointment was approved by the company’s shareholders at its recent extraordinary general meting of shareholders.

“The appointment of Ferry Arief Sunandar as President Director and Hendrik Zulkarnaen as Director is also a form of Sewatama’s commitment to always comply with the regulations regarding public companies contained in the Regulation of the Financial Services Authority (POJK) No.33 / POJK.04 / 2014,” said Nadia Diposanjoyo, Head of Corporate Affairs & Marketing, in Jakarta (Aug. 7).

Ferry Arief Sunandar was previously a Director at Sewatama for two periods. While Hendrik Zulkarnaen, besides being a Director, also served as Chief Operation Officer who oversees the company’s operations.

In the electricity industry, Hendrik has more than 25 years of experience. He began his career as a sales manager at Sewatama, then held a position in the information technology field at the Company. In early 2018, Hendrik Zulkarnaen was appointed as Chief Sales Operation Officer until July 2018.

Nadia added, this determination was also a strategic step for Sewatama in maintaining business in the electricity industry.

Sewatama is currently a national electricity company that focuses on service-based electricity business. A number of new products began to be spawned, including Eco Power which is used to make electricity users more efficient in industries that operate more than 12 hours. Such as shopping centers or malls, vehicle assembly plants to use in the oil & gas industry.

“Other electrical solutions, Sewatama also has supporting products such as Operation & Maintenance, rental load of banks, to mechanical and electrical installations in factories. “For alternative electricity sources, Sewatama also has hybrid electricity that combines solar panels with diesel generators,” he said.
