315 Construction Firms Taking Part in Indonesia Infrastructure Week

 

JAKARTA (RambuEnergy.com) – As many as 315 construction-related companies, both local and overseas, are taking part in the 5th of Indonesia Infrastructure Week 2017. The exhibition and conference is being held from Nov 8 until 10.

Bambang P.S. Brodjonegoro, Minister of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS), said the government continues its commitment to develop and deliver priority national infrastructure projects to both improve connectivity across the archipelago as well as contributing to its annual targets for increasing overall GDP.

The minister also called on private sector to take part in the development of infrastructure projects, taking advantaged of the government’s improved scheme of cooperation, involving state owned companies and private sector.

The Head of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Rosan P. Roeslani stated that the chamber hopes for a strengthening synergy between the government, state-owned companies and financing industry, therefore the development of various infrastructure can go ahead smoothly. *)
