Pertamina launches tender for time charter, voyage charter for tanker vessels, tug boat

JAKARTA (RambuEnergy.com) – State owned energy company PT Pertamina is inviting national shipping companies to take part in the procurement process of time charter and contract of affreightment (COA) or voyage charter of a number of tanker vessels as well as tug boats.

The procurement was part of Pertamina’s drive to implement the cabotage principle, which requires only national-flagged vessels to deliver goods within Indonesian waters.

The type of vessels to be rented are as follows:
1. Crude Oil Tanker
2. Clean Petroleum Product Tanker
3. Asphalt Tanker
4. Lube Base Oil Tanker
5. LPG Tanker
6. Tug & Oil Barge (capable to carry oil with flash point below 60 degree celcius)
7. Harbour Tug (Assist Tag) boat
8. Towing Tug vessel.

Those are interested to take part in the procurement process must make sure that their vessels have obtained Pertamina Safety Approval (PSA).

The procurement is being launched by Chartering Department, Marketing Directorate, Shipping of Pertamina (Persero).
