Pertamina proposes change in board structure to accommodate business expansion

JAKARTA (RAMBUENERGY.com) – State energy company PT Pertamina is proposing to the State Enterprises Minister to amend the structure of its board of directors composition by adding two new directors to accommodate the company’s business expansion.

The company refers to its plan to develop a number of national giant projects in processing (refinery) and petrochemical.

The proposed two directors are: first deputy president director for downstream and new and renewable energy (EBT) and secondly, director for Processing and Petrochemical Megaprojects.

The downstream and EBT deputy president director will act as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in downstream and EBT as well as lead and coordinate with directors, namely director marketing and retail and director for processing and SVP for EBT.

Director for Processing and Petrochemical Megaprojects will be responsible to lead and direct the development of mega projects in areas of processing or refinery and petrochemical and responsible on the development of the projects timely, meet the required quality and efficient. (*)
