JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – PT KHI Pipe Industries, a pipeline maker of PT Krakatau Steel Tbk, and PT Bakrie Pipe Industries are currently in intense competition to win pipeline procurement contract worth US$200 million from Chevron Pacific Indonesia (CPI).
Kontan daily reported that Krakatau Steel, the parent company of KHI said that it is upbeat about the tender as it has met minimum local content requirement of 40 percent, while Bakrie Pipe argued that they have offered the cheapest price.
